Arise of Youth leadership in Indian politics

After a huge success of Congress party in general elections, Rahul Gandhi emerges as prominent leader. This is a new beginning of youth leadership. This success assures his strong position in government and Indian politics. This is his first step to be prime minister in future. He can be Prime Minister in this tenure also, may be after two years of this government. Rahul Gandhi can become a cabinet minister this time. Rahul Gandhi is working strongly for making congress strong; also, his emphasis is to make youth congress a strong force.

Rahul Gandhi opts out of the cabinet minister ship in last government, to focus on youth congress. Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is making a path for Rahul Gandhi to be the next prime minister. He wants a youth leadership and his successor to be young like Rahul Gandhi.

During this election campaign, Rahul Gandhi proves his leadership qualities. He attended 150-election rallies nation wide. Congress party members vote Rahul Gandhi to be the next Prime Minister.

Rahul Gandhi decided to elect congress candidate without the support of other parties in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. This was a tough decision made by him and this result in victory of congress in two states. Especially in Uttar Pradesh, congress party got enormous success. This proves that party can elect gracefully from this state without the support of regional parties. Congress has to fight for a strong position in Uttar Pradesh at its own. Uttar Pradesh was the strongest state for congress party at its earlier time. This state used to decide the prime minister of the country.

Rahul Gandhi wins the vote from youth of the nation, especially those who were voting for the first time. Everyone wish for country’s growth under youth leadership. In the last elections of 2004, congress started introducing many youths in politics. Among this youth leadership maximum were children of congress leaders. Youth leadership in congress emerges as winner in politics in the last and current elections.

Let us hope more youth leadership comes into Indian politics and do well for the development of our nation.
